Philips Lighting Company

At Philips,we define sustainability as "meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

We believe that every entity, from a suburban household to a global corporation, can benefit by incorporating sustainability into everyday life and long-range planning. As Nobel laureate Al Gore said, we now have "an opportunity to experience something that few generations ever have the privilege of knowing: a common moral purpose compelling enough to lift us above our limitations..

Tranquil Mayhem

Since the beginning of the action sports market, adrenaline junkies have gravitated towards progressive and creative movements within snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing. Tranquil Mayhem is a clothing company born on the water, raised on the mountains, and entrenched in cities everywhere. We are dedicated to environmental improvements that foster a sustainable future and lead to social and economical improvements. Tranquil Mayhem strives to provide free spirit expression while preserving the world we love to ride. It is our mission to maintain our core focus and roots while bringing our lifestyle message of boardriding, independence, creativity and social responsibility to this global community. Individual expression, an adventurous spirit, authenticity and a passionate approach are all part of our love to ride and are the essence of our brand.

Tranquil Mayhem is fully committed to organic farming, which is a form of agriculture, which avoids or largely excludes the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, plant growth regulators, and livestock feed additives. Organic cultivation requires managing and preserving the sensitive ecosystem as opposed to stripping the land of its resources as conventional farming does. Tranquil Mayhem uses 100% certified organic cotton from various regions of the world such as Turkey, Peru, Africa, India and the USA.

All Tranquil Mayhem partners are required to adhere to a code of conduct and Terms of Engagement in our company manufacturing agreement. These factories must use the highest environmental and labor standards, controlling factory pollution, and enforcing fair labor as the cornerstone of the effort.

World Centric

At World Centric we try our best to do our part - in the products we sell, how we run our business, what we do with our profits and the values we hold. We list the things we are currently doing to be a sustainable company. Please click through the graphics below to find out more about our efforts.
